14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Paul Prays for Love to Overflow
14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, 15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. 16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favour until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. 17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.
18-19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! 20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. GOD IS BIG! But we can be filled with ALL the fullness of God!

When we got saved our spirit was not healed, it was re-created.

All the old things passed away, all things became NEW! The old man could not even begin to receive or understand all the fullness of God. When we become born again we are made out of the same spirit substance as God, and have the ability to expand to receive His fullness. It is beyond our understanding...but it is still true.

He is able to do it according to His Power, that is at work in us.

Unfortunately most Christians do not have any concept of what is available to them in God! We have to accept it by Faith.

It will not happen overnight. It takes place over time as you continue in the Word and get revelation of each level that God wants to take you to, and fill you with.

Think back to where you were spiritually 10 years ago.  Hopefully you have grown since then.  Well think of the next 10 years or next 20...if you continue on in the Word and seek God's face.  And just think of what we will be like when we get to heaven...we have eternity to grow and continue to get filled with the fullness of God.

I am born of God and am here for a purpose. I need to get over my small thinking and think BIG!

1 Kings 4:29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.

29-34 God gave Solomon wisdom—the deepest of understanding and the largest of hearts. There was nothing beyond him, nothing he couldn’t handle.

Solomon’s wisdom outclassed the vaunted wisdom of wise men of the East, outshone the famous wisdom of Egypt. He was wiser than anyone—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, wiser than Heman, wiser than Calcol and Darda the sons of Mahol. He became famous among all the surrounding nations. God can't give anything to you unless you are ready to receive it. You have to be a willing vessel. People want a major outpouring but bring God a tiny little cup to put the Blessing in. And some still can't take it. It's not what God can do, it is what we can receive. 

The smaller the openness of your heart you give Him, the less we can receive

The larger the openness of your heart we give Him, the more you receive

Your heart is your Spirit.  It is flexible to grow to receive, to get as big as we are willing to let it grow!

Things that can keep us from receiving

Fear, unbelief, lack of knowledge, selfishness, wrong thinking, wrong believing, wrong teaching.

If you only look at your small little world, only worrying about how things affect you, you will never see the fullness of what God has to offer you.

Open up your world to God's World through His Word!

Ephesians 5:14

Therefore He says:

And Christ will give you light.”

Acts 28:27 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”’

We need to stop being so narrow minded and looking at the physical things around us and get the spiritual truths that God has for us. And we start to understand just who God is and what he has done for us.

Philippians 3:10

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

God’s Covenant with Abram

2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

We need to believe God and it will be counted to us for righteousness and be filled with the fullness of God!
