Luke 18 - The unjust Judge - Verse 1

Romans 12:12, Eph. 6:18, I Thess. 5:11

Men ought always to pray and not faint. Don’t grow wearing your praying, waiting for a manifestation - You could fall asleep spiritually and let satan get a foothold

Luke 18:2-5 The unjust judge is satan. With your persistence in praying he will eventually loose that person because he realizes you are just not going to let up. You are paralysing his kingdom.

6-8 On the other side, God will see your perseverance and patience and your faith and will make satan loose that person. Your love and devotion to stick with it will free that person from bondage

Heb. 6:10-12 When the son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth? God considers this faith to be an intercessors who will stand and stand and stand.

Luke 11:5-12

He gave to him not because he was a friend but because of his importunity, he gave him as many as he needed.

An abundance of blessing for the one he went on behalf of. Even so God will give if we ask, because of our importunity and we will receiver what we ask for, in abundance.

So we see here that the importunity in prayer on the behalf of another is scriptural and pleasing to the Father, and that it does get results, if done n faith.

James 5: 14-16 Amplified version

The earnest, heartfelt continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in it’s working.

You will be God & Jesus walking in this earth.

The prayer must be from the heart, full of love and continued until the answer comes.

We must intercede in love. That is the only way we can do it. We must love those that we pray for. Love will motivate you to stay with it. If you lo, you will not give up until you see that person set free.

Jesus was always moved by “Compassion”. He was God’s love flowing in this earth. His spirit man was stirred every time he saw someone hurting and reacted by setting that person free.

You must be willing to lay aside your fleshly desires and pour yourself out for that person.

John 15:13 “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”

That is what you are doing when you commit to a life of intercession. You are laying aside your wants and desires to spend time in prayer of someone in need.

Hebrews 12:1-4 We must lay aside all the weights and excuses that satan can bring and push ourselves into intercessory prayer.

1) Who being in the form of God (II Cor. 4:4, I Tim. 3:16, Col. 1:15, Heb.1:3

thought it not robbery to be equal with God (John 5:18, John 10:30)

2) But made himself of no reputation ( Psalm 22:6. Isaiah 53:3)

3) And took upon him the form of a servant

4) And was made in the likeness of men (Heb. 2:9,16)

5) And being found in the fashion as a man, humbled himself

6) And became obedient unto death even the death of the cross

Wherefore God also has

1) Highly exalted him

2) Given him a name which is above every name

3) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow

A) Things in heaven

B) Things in earth

C) Things under the earth

4) And every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord

To make it personal - Let this mind be in you - or - Think this way

1) I am in the form of God (Gen. 1:26) and because of Jesus and through

Jesus, I think it not robbery to be equal with God (John 10:30-38, Psalm

82:1-6)

2) I take upon myself no reputation - people will only see Jesus and give him

Glory

3) I take upon myself the form of a servant. (Matt. 20:26, 23:11, Mark 9:35,

Mark 10:4) As and intercessor or serving my brother whichever way God

tells me

4) I am made in the likeness of man

5) Therefore I humble myself (Matt. 18:4, Luke 14:11, James 4:10, I Peter

5:6)

6) And become obedient to death - to myself, denying myself and put my

body under subjection

Wherefore God will

1) Highly exalt me

2) He’s given me Jesus’ name - that is above every name

3) At that name every knew must bow to me

A) Things in heaven

B) Things in earth

C) Things under the earth

4) And every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord - because of the word

and the convicting power of the Holy Spirit - to the Glory of God the Father.

If we obey this, we will work out your own salvation by letting God work in you the will or the desire and the way, to do his good pleasure or His will.

So that you may be blameless and harmless Sons of God (Romans 8) without rebuke and shine as a light in the world.

By holding forth the Word of Life

So that I (or the intercessor) will know that I have not run or laboured

(interceded and travailed) in vain.
