Ephesians 3:16-19 That he would grant you, according to the
riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the
inner man; That Christ my dwell in your hearts by faith; that you being
rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what
is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height and to know the love of
Christ, which passes knowledge; that you might be filled with the fullness
of God.
I Corinthians 2: 9-10 Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor
has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for
those who love Him But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For
the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God.
There are two separate worlds. The natural, physical world and the
supernatural, spiritual world. The first deep is the natural world, the
second deep is the Spiritual.
We in the natural cannot call out for anything in the
Spiritual that has not already been provided for. The natural cannot even
conceive of anything to ask for that the Spiritual has not got. The natural
will never be greater then the Spiritual. God created it all and he is All
Supreme, All Sufficient! He is God and always has been and always will be.
So as we look at the other verses in Psalm 42:3-11 we see a
man that has tried to understand this, but has not completely comprehended
all that God can and will do. He is a man hungry for God and all he is, but
is continually looking at the natural and his own surroundings and those
asking “Where is your God”? He has taken his eyes off God and turned to
those things around for assurance that God is near. He is in tears and his
soul is cast down because he has forgotten where God is. He cries out from
the depths of his soul to God. From the natural into the supernatural spirit
realm. Finally in the last verse he gets it right
11Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him. The help of my countenance
(salvation) and my God.
We are so busy looking at what is around us and continually crying out to
God as if He has moved. He is still in the same place. We bring despair and
tears upon ourselves. We forget our time with God and how it brings peace.
We get busy with other things and before we know it…we are crying out and
saying…God…where did you go??
He didn’t go anywhere! He is right here! Always has been, always will be!
But we need a hunger for Him! A hunger for His word! We need to get to know
the deep places in God and we will never wonder again, where He is, because
we will always sense Him with us.
Going back to Ephesians 3
Christ must dwell in our hearts by faith. We must be rooted and grounded in
Love and then…only then…will we be able to comprehend The breadth, length,
depth and height of the fullness of God.
This is only seen through Christ’s love. If we have any bitterness in our
hearts, we will never see the fullness of God. Love and hate do not work
together. Faith and Fear do not work together. We must be pure in heart
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
What is the connection between the natural realm and the spiritual one?
II Peter 1: 3,4 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things
that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath
called us to glory and virtue whereby are given unto us exceeding great and
precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of divine nature.
The exceeding great and precious promises are the bridge between the two
realms. The word of God is the way we call from our realm into God’s
realm…Deep Calling Unto Deep! This is how we see things manifested into the
natural realm from the spiritual realm. And we become partakers of the
divine nature of God.
What is God’s divine nature? Love!
His divine nature is to supply, He is a giver, not a taker.
II Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us
cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfection
holiness in the fear or reverence of God.
What promises?
Chapter 6 : 16-18
1) We are the temple of the living God
2) God will dwell in us
3) and walk in us
4) and be our God
5) and we shall be His people
6) He will receive us
7) He will be a Father to us
8) We will be His sons and daughters
Believe these promises and nothing will be impossible to you!
We need to take God at His word and act on it. Whatever you need, God’s word promises it. When you do you will see the divine nature of God at work in your life and you will begin to see the manifestation of what you need.
He will not lie and He is true to His word.
