Exodus 15:26
“If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord
your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and
keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have
brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
He that dwells: To live in a place, to reside,
to hang on with fondness, to continue. We must dwell continually with the
Lord.
You dwell with your family.
You know each other. You see each others faults and short comings.
You know each others good traits. Nothing is hidden. It's all part
of being a family.
We need to know the Lord in that way.
He is family, without the bad traits of course. We stick with family
through the worst and best of times. So what is our excuse for not
spending time with God? He is the easiest being to get along with, and yet
we don't dwell in His presence. He longs to fellowship with us and be part
of our lives. We share our deepest thoughts and concerns with a good
friend, but we don't share them with God.
Have your ever tried to keep someone out of a
conversation? They are standing there and you keep turning your back and
leaning into the other person you are talking to, so that only they can hear?
That's what we do to God sometimes. He knows all anyways, but he wants to
hear it from you, in that secret place. Maybe we figure, because He knows
all, we don't need to talk to Him about it. But when you tell someone your
troubles, concerns, or your joys and triumphs, they become a part of you and you
become a part of them.
How do you
feel when you share with a friend and they give you feedback that comforts,
encourages and helps you? You feel better don't you? Just think of
how much better you'd feel if you shared it with God, in that secret place with
only you and Him. It's where your go and close yourself in with Him and
tell Him your deep thoughts and concerns. And he answers you with the
wisdom of the ages. And when you are away from that secret place, that
dwelling place, you can abide, remain fixed and stable, under His shadow.
A shadow goes wherever you go. It's stuck to you. Even when you
don't see it, it's still there. Just walk into the light, and there it is.
God sticks with you. His comfort and wisdom goes with us wherever we go.
Say with your mouth "The Lord is my refuge
and fortress, in Him will I trust."
Back in ancient times, they built huge
walls around a city. The people felt safe and secure within those walls,
protected from the enemy. It was they fortress and refuge from danger and
the enemy. We have a portable refuge or fortress that we carry around with
us wherever we go. His name is Almighty God, Jehovah, the Great I Am.
He surrounds us with His angels and no enemy can get through.
Psalm 103:20
Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
Let the Lord and His Angels fight the battle. Just speak the Word
and wait on Him.
Isaiah
40:28-31
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The
Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His
understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases
strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly
fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount
up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and
not faint.
What do
we do while waiting on Him? Minister to Him with our praise and worship.
We will grow in strength and not grow weary. We can't bring anything to
God that He can't handle. As we wait, we are renewed spirit, soul and body, and
will rise up on wings as Eagles, and glide and let the wind of the Spirit carry
us. We will run the race that is set before us
Hebrews 12:1-3
12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let
us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the
author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of
the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners
against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
Philippians 3:13-14
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things
which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of
God in Christ Jesus.
We will walk in our Christian life and not become faint. When satan
puts obstacles in our way, tries to get us off the path, to the easier road,
just remember, God is with you!
Psalm 91:3
He rescues you from every trap and fatal
plaque
Matthew 23:37a
37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who
kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to
gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings.
A hen will cover her chicks with her wings
to protect them, even if it means her death. Under the protection of God's
wings nothing can hurt you. His truth, His word will be your armour.
Ephesians 6:11-18
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that you
may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly
places.
13 Therefore take up the whole armour of
God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to
stand.
14 Stand therefore,
having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of
righteousness,
15 and having shod your feet with the
preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 above all, taking the shield of faith
with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and
the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and
supplication for all the saints
With all the evil in the world today, so many people walk in fear.
People are afraid to let their children out even in the daytime in case someone
hurts them. There is fear all around us but we don't have to be a part of
it.
Joshua 23:10
10 One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights
for you, as He promised you.
Matthew 18:18-20
18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything
that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two
or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
If you can get someone
to agree with you and what the word says, destruction, disease, demons, nothing
can touch you. They can't even get near you. You just will be a
spectator and walk right through it. This is the Power of the Word!
No evil, no plague! Break the curse of
disease in your home! It has no authority over you!
Put Angels come into action! They will
protect you from everything that Satan tries to bring against you.
Psalm 34:7
7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who
fear Him, And delivers them.
Hebrews 1:14
14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who
will inherit salvation?
Acts 12:7-11
7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the
prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise
quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. 8 Then the angel said to him, “Gird
yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on
your garment and follow me.” 9 So he went out and followed him, and did not know
that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10
When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron
gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they
went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.
11 And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the
Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from
all the expectation of the Jewish people.”
Luke 10:18-19
18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold,
I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
We can trample Satan under our feet! God has given us power and authority
to do this!

Psalm
37:4
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 91:14
Because he has set his love upon Me
therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high,
Because he has known my name.
I will be with him in trouble
I will deliver him and honour him.
With long life I will satisfy him.
And show him My Salvation.
