The Prayer of Faith is primarily for yourself to receive from God, but can be also be prayed for others that come to you and are in agreement with you. James 5:14-18

Let’s start with the prayer of faith for ourselves. What are the steps to receiving from this kind of prayer

1) Have Faith in God

2) Say unto the mountain - Be removed

3) Doubt not in your heart

4) Believe that what you say will come to pass

5) And you shall have whatsoever you say. “Whatever you desire when you pray believe that you receive and you will have it”

6) When you stand praying forgive or God cannot forgive you and will not

Hear you.

Other Important Things To Remember

1) Confession - Hold fast to what you say

2) Act as though it is already done (because it is in the Spirit realm)

3) Don’t let Satan feed you suggestions

4) You are the establishing witness. The word says it and you agree and it shall be established.

5) Dwell on the answer, not on the problem.

6) Refuse to accept anything but the answer. See yourself succeed, not fail

7) Testify of what you believe - The Word!

8) Get involved in helping someone else, start giving.

When praying the Prayer of Faith for someone else you would follow the same procedure but they must be in complete agreement with you because their will is involved. The ministry of laying on of hands is often involved when praying the prayer of faith for someone else, and also the Gift of Faith, the Gift of Healing or the Gift of Miracles.

Next lesson will continue with the different types of prayer.
